Yup sis, you didn't read that wrong. This palette no lie is EXPENSIVE, like expensive expensive! But here is what i will say if you have been thinking about buying it or not for a while....

The feel of this thing.....
There is a reason i said love at first touch, i literally only swatched the black shade and i was SOLD, its so smooth, the powder is so soft and milled and not to mention PIGMENTED. I have about 3 black shades and the one in this palette hits the mark. I have never... i mean NEVER seen a proper black matte like its in this palette.
Versatile Queen
Talk about a travel friendly palette, you can create i think... 20 looks? from this palette alone ( and mind you I'm not the the most creative, if you're a true artist you could probably do more ). Honey, you are serving looks for days end, from nudes, to pinks, to golds, from full glam, to soft day look. This palette alone got you covered. This was my second palette I believe after urban decay.... honey.... *i threw my urban decay out* OOPS OK don't come for me! but its true! this palette is one I always reach for, even if I'm using other palette's!
The Bling on this Thing
They glitter shades are NO joke, a lot of people complain about the formula being hard to work with. Honestly, just use your fingers, i mean I always use my fingers .... CLEAN FINGERS, nature's tool, to get that glitter and put it on my lid. You just have to know how to work with it. But trust that little glitter on your pinky goes a loooooong way.
Truth be told i can't say whether its improved from the original palette because i didn't try that one. But if you haven't bought this, you are missing out.
